  • 1 Service Fee: No Monthly Service Fee on Chase High School Checking for students 13-17 years old at account opening with their parent/guardian as a co-owner and the account linked to the parent/guardian's personal checking account. Linked accounts exclude Chase High School CheckingSM, Chase College CheckingSM, Chase Secure CheckingSM, and Chase First CheckingSM. When the student turns 19, the Chase High School Checking account will become a Chase Total Checking® account.
    Bonus/Account Information: Your child can receive only one new checking account opening related bonus every two years from the last coupon enrollment date and only one bonus per account.To receive the bonus: 1) Open a new Chase High School Checking account, which is subject to approval; AND 2) Complete at least 5 qualifying transactions within 60 days of coupon enrollment. Qualifying transactions include: debit card purchases, online bill payments, Chase QuickDepositSM, Zelle®, or ACH credits. After your child has completed all the above requirements and the 5 qualifying transactions have posted to their account, we'll deposit the bonus into their new account within 15 days. To receive this bonus, the enrolled account must not be closed or restricted at the time of payout. Eligibility may be limited based on account ownership. Bonus is considered interest and will be reported on IRS Form 1099-INT (or Form 1042-S, if applicable).

Chase College Checking details
For students 17 to 24 years old at account opening, enrolled in college or a vocational, technical or trade school. Proof of student status may be required. 17 year olds must open in branch.

$0 Monthly Service Fee up to the graduation date provided at account opening (five years maximum)

or
$12 Monthly Service Fee or $0 with one of the following, each
monthly statement period:

  • Have electronic deposits made into this account totaling $500 or more, such as payments from payroll providers or government benefit providers, by using (i) the ACH network, (ii) the Real Time Payment or FedNowSM network, (iii) third party services that facilitate payments to your debit card using the Visa® or Mastercard® network,
  • OR keep an average ending day balance of $1,500 or more in your checking account.
